Teresa Boast

Teresa lives and works in beautiful Nidderdale.  She is renowned for her paintings of detailed wildlife and quirky colourful sheep.  Both reflect her joy of the countryside and her engagement with the animals within it.  Her landscape paintings are much freer and echo the spirit of the wild places of the Dales.

She studied at Harrogate School of Art and is now a professional artist living and working in Nidderdale.  For several years, together with her husband Steve, she used to run 'The Boastess Gallery' in Pateley Bridge, where she showcased her work and built up an international following.

Teresa currently exhibits annually, throughout the summer, with the Yorkshire Artists group at RHS Harlow Carr Harrogate. In addition she exhibits at the Mall Galleries in London each year with AFAS.  Previously she was elected as a full member of the former Yorkshire Watercolour Society and exhibited with them at prestigious venues throughout Yorkshire.
