Fiona Champion

I am a self-taught artist with a special interest in animals.  My inspiration comes from several safaris in Africa.  I paint in all mediums, with a particular love of acrylic, pastel and graphite.

In 2013 I was a finalist in the BBC Wildlife magazine’s Artist of the Year, with my painting achieving a ‘Commended’ in the final judging.

As a member of the Armed Forces Art Society, I regularly exhibit at the Mall Galleries in London.  There I have received the ‘Worshipful Company of Painter-Stainers Award’ (2012) and ‘Highly Commended’ (2013).

I have also had work included in the ‘International Fund for Animal Welfare’ calendar.  I have paintings in Art for All, Chichester, and have sold paintings in that gallery.  I have work in collections as far afield as Australia, America and Switzerland.

I am a member of several art societies, including Marwell International Wildlife Art Society and the Association of Sussex Artists.
