| Morgan comes from a family with a strong tradition of painting. At school, under the skilful tutelage of Curtis Delmar-Morgan, he won all the major art prizes. However, after leaving school he joined the army and painting become a hobby to be pursued only when time allowed. With the exception of attending life drawing classes and what he learned at school, he is self-taught. Since retirement he has taken up painting seriously. He is Chairman of the Armed Forces Art Society and he paints both landscapes and portraits in watercolour and oils. He particularly enjoys painting in Venice. He exhibits annually at the Mall Gallery in London, and has sold paintings at the Albany Gallery in Cardiff and the A Frame Gallery in Brecon. He is receiving an increasing number of commissions for portraits and welcomes enquiries through the contact form on this website. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
