Chris Blessington is a Director of the Wilderness Trust. Although his favourite medium is watercolour he frequently uses oils and acrylics. His current passion, besides an enduring love of landscape is to paint the animals he encounters on his travels in the bush veldt. He also models in clay for casting in resin or bronze.

 

As a sailor and traveller he has taken his sketch book with him wherever he has gone. He works up his final paintings from sketches and drawings done during his travels.

Wry and often painfully funny observation of Army life has provided ample subjects for irreverent cartoons.
