Caroline Lees

Caroline studied at The Corcoran Gallery School of Art, Washington DC and attended master classes at The Slade School of Art, London.

   

 

She has had two books commissioned: Caroline Lees Watercolours of Shropshire, and The Way to Life (icons). Her paintings can be found in many collections including that of the Ritz Hotel, London, the National Trust, Adam & Company bank and St Catherine’s Monastery, Sinai. She has done work for many companies including the Palace Office, Sultanate of Oman, commercial companies in Saudi Arabia and the Garsington Opera Company.

More recently she has taken up icon painting, studying under Aidan Hart with follow up tuition at Sergiev Posad, Moscow and with Tatiana Kolibaba of St Petersburg.

Caroline has exhibited in the USA, the Middle East and London including the Royal Academy and has had three one man shows at Rafael Valls, Ryder Street, St. James’s. She also undertakes commissions.
