Anthony Hopkinson

Anthony Hopkinson served as a regular soldier 1953-1965.  Scots Guards and 16th Independent Parachute Brigade.

Having painted all his life he took up printmaking eleven years ago and this now involves as much time as he can give to it.  His works are printed by hand in editions of not more than 20.  He take as his motto the slogan of the great 20th Century poster artist, Abram Games:  Maximum Meaning, Minimum Means.

He is currently President of the Cambridge Drawing Society, one of the oldest societies for painters, sculptors and printmakers.
