Andrew Bell lives in Somerset, on the Blackdown Hills. In partnership with his wife, he has organised an exhibition for local artists for 11 years, and regularly exhibits with the Neroche Artists for the biennial Somerset Art Weeks and in the intervening years. He had a solo exhibition at the Custard Factory in Birmingham in 1996 and at the Barn Gallery, Bishopswood, in 2004.

He learned to paint at school and continued sporadically during his RAF career. He works mainly in acrylic, on predominantly landscape subjects, but also in oils and watercolours, drawing inspiration from the Blackdown Hills and from journeys to France, USA/Canada, Wales, and Mongolia in 2004.
