Alix Baker, Chairman of the Armed Forces Art Society 2002-2007, is a fulltime artist.

After very many years of being an internationally-collected military artist working for regiments, museums and on private commissions, she has let out her 'civilian art' side. |
| Her pictures can be found in numerous museums from those throughout Britain to the unsurpassed Anne Brown Collection in the USA. The majority of British regiments own them. |

Alix's advice is sought by publishers, authors, silversmiths, sculptors, magazines, historians and students (she has been the subject of study by GCSE and A level students). Her pictures crop up from time to time in films, West End plays and television dramas - often without her permission! |
|
She participates in several national and local art exhibitions. Alix is happy to discuss commissions. |
